If you get in a car accident and submit a claim to your insurance company, you should know the following guidelines.

• You have the right to choose the repair shop for fixing your vehicle. Your insurance representative may suggest a repair facility they prefer, but it is not up to them to dictate the final location. This is your call.
• You have the right to have your vehicle repaired to a pre-accident condition — no partial repairs. Your insurance company should cover all costs necessary for that to happen.
